I've chewed on this for a couple of days - and honestly still processing. And it still bothers me.
Grant wasn't old, and his health was excellent. He exercised regularly, was a very active guy, ate well, no bad habits - he lived a physically healthy life.
Grant was a kind person. He made time to talk with every single fan who ever wanted his time.
He was gracious, and friendly, and had a positive affect on every person he came in contact with - he lived a morally healthy life.
Grant was a smart guy. But he used those gifts to teach and share with the world. His focus an education and getting people into STEM was beyond admirable. He lived an inspirational life.
Everything you are supposed to do as person he did. We all should strive to emulate how he lived his life.
If ever there was an example of life not being fair, this is it. He was a good man, and a good friend, and I will miss him.
