Sieht sehr gut aus. Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert, wie gut die Schweißnähte werden können, wenn man es kann.
(Ich muss immer im Freien schweißen, der Wind verweht mir mein Schutzgas, entsprechend sehen dann die Schweißnähte aus...)Was mich interessieren würde: Wie wurden die einzelnen Platten beim Schweißen fixiert, damit das ganze Gehäuse symmetrisch wird? Es sind unzählige unterschiedliche Winkel am Chassis vorhanden, aber alles passt .

Ja, das habe ich gesehen (der rote Magnet). Aber damit sind nur 90° und 45° möglich. Wie macht man stabile Fixierungen bei "freien" Winkeln?
=> Ist hier out-off-topic, kann man im Detail gerne in einem separten Thread erläutern, wenn jemand einen Tipp bzw. Fotos oder Links zu Werkzeugen hat. -
This was free-welded, no fixing needed.
The parts were anglegrinded to spec and it became a puzzle that fitted together.If fixing is needed, without making more tooling/jigs I can do 90° easely enough.
And if it's needed, welding up a jig isn't a big deal.
After all, that can be done in normal steel .The magnet doesn' fix the steel, it gives it a tad more stable point to start, that's it.
And it's very annoying, such a magnet with a DC welder. The arc will be drawn, or repelled by it. -
Hannibalito 5 is alive. Now to find the teething problems.
I hope I can get Kashei running with the axe in working order.

Drive is the same as in Hannibalito 3 and Kashei.

The main difference with H3 is the armor. H5 has a full Hardox belt around.

Ich bin immer noch auf der Suche nach einem Lieferanten von den LKW-Sicherungen. (Ähnlich den FK1-Sicherungen, die normalerweise an den Fahrtreglern verbaut sind, aber leider nur bis 40A erhältlich sind. BB-Dirk hatte mir so eine LKW-Sicherung mit 60A gezeigt, aber leider nirgends in Elektronik-Geschäften standardmäßig zu bekommen.) -
Hannibalito 5 uses a 60mm bore 55mm stroke ram, compared to the 50mm bore 80mm stroke ram in H3.
That's 8.5L of gas per action compared to 8.6l of gas.Because the higher force of the 60mm bore ram, I increased the leverage. But in the ent, force on the tip of the arm should be about the same.

Not in the body. That is mandated by the bottles in there. The only difference is the ram-length. And that too ain't that much.

Yep. Same as in Kashei for the axe.

And Hannibalito 5 didn't pan out. We'll have a look at Hannibalito 3, maybe resurrecting that one for the next event.
Oh well. Worked on Kashei today. That machine is ready to rumble again, but we're plain out of parts we can reïnforce/improve inside the limits of the machine.
