Kashei is repaired with the current motor. We are not going forward with this machine in competitions but will use it for demos. We will build a second Kashei for competitions, which will get a complete new axe system based on the new TP Power motors we ordered in Dortmund.

Team RCC robotter.

And Hannibalito 5 didn't pan out. We'll have a look at Hannibalito 3, maybe resurrecting that one for the next event.
No we're not.

Nothing special.
4040 size (40mm diameter 73mm long) wich custom shaft and KV. -
A last ditch try with reïnforced everythings on the Kashei axe setup did prove a waste of time. As a weaponless armored box it wasn't a disaster, but it can't push for beans due the less than optimal weight distribution, nor can it self right , and that defeats that kind of purpose.
Kashei is no more. The drive will go in storage untill a new machine needs it.
Kashei 2 was planned for, but with the new knowledge gained we're going to experiment with different kinds of clutches. -
Oha! I'm curious about your new version!

Just ordered 70 5*2mm rare earth magnets.

70 5*2mm rare earth magnets.
What ist the destination? Motor? Ok. Chassis/Wheels? We have no metallic ground. -
Evil plans. Dark and deep mad science.
Imagine what I can do with all that untapped magnetic power...
Muhahahahahaha
But no, it's not to improve traction nor to make a stronger motor.
It will be an experiment to build an axe or flywheel powered flipper. -

i like that idea. Flipper please, as much as I like axes, surgeon already makes people get ridiculous top armor. That's enough.
-
Yep, Nebelchen will sacrifice some weight to protect the battery a tad better. The top plate is only 5mm HDPE. I guess 3mm ti or even hardox won't hurt.
And the new feather, if the experiments with the different yield one result that is useable, we have the next gen.

Emergency build for FACTS. Name of the Machine. Kasirga.
Brushless drive from Kashei. Loads of Hardox from Kcut. Some aluminium and even 3D printed parts. -
Sounds interesting do you have some pics?
-
Not yet. There should be a piccy of the disk on Facebook somewere, protected and all.

Looks very solid how heavy and thick is the disc?
-

-
It's tiny. 120mm max diameter and the disk itself is 15mm thick.

Kasirga Lives.
